Has anyone had any issues submitting and inquiry? Both my cases are over 105 days but when I try to submit an inquiry it states that: “Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time.” My permit expired on September 24th so I am really anxious to get a renewal.

2021.10.25 11:54 diegomac Pagamento de Salário / Serviço em CriptoMoeda

Bom dia amigos.

So I have cousins who used to play Fortnite and the way you can get V books in that game is to fork over the cash right out the gate or play save the world I'm thinking will halo infinite try something like that and they go we'll give you three options

  1. forking over the cash right out the gate
  2. By the campaign and do side objectives and stuff like that where it gives you the premium currency
  3. Or get game pass which has the campaign

2021.10.25 11:54 absolutelyrightleft Health issues since being in Thailand?

I’ve been in Thailand for a few months now and have noticed shortly after I arrived mysterious health related symptoms pop up. Stuffy nose, swollen eyes, face rash all over, that has now turned into a chronic face and body rash. Welts that come and go, heavy dark circles under my eyes. I’m becoming generally miserable as I can’t seem to figure out what’s going on. I’m in my late 20s. Is it the pollution? I’m always itchy, my body is becoming scarred and covered with rashes, I have random bumps that look like large bug bites popping up head to my literal toe and the most annoying of all, a chronically itchy grainy face rash that stings when wet. Has anybody else had problems since being here?

Previously on Opera
Yeah life sucks, but here's a chapter for you. Sorry I was late, I forgot my password again.
I wasn’t pushed so much as I was herded across the edge. Thyn screamed, and then, I heard Sev, his voice mutilated into a roar that sent shivers down my spine. I stared back at him, seeing him carve through the Reapers, breaking bones as he tried to make his way over to me in time, but the entire deck was strewn by them at that point, and they just kept coming.
It was what I’d learned from the Captain, and months of living on the Sea. You couldn’t beat the Sea if you were playing your own game. You had to beat it on its own.
So I stepped up onto the edge and stood there, trying to fight the wild terror that slipped into my lungs, turned my spine to ice and made my blood feel too thick in my veins.
Then I said, almost under my breath, though I knew everyone could hear it as I clutched at my Heart and felt the lights and healing trapped inside. “Come and get me.”
Then the Reapers were upon me and I toppled overboard.
I didn’t break the water, because the water wasn’t there. The endless amber glittering of the ocean yielded perfectly like air, and I fell, and I fell, and I fell, the world toppling and twisting, and I thought I heard horrendous noises, and at once I turned to track them and saw a creature there of twisting feathers and brassy skin and bright purple eyes, talons as long as a nightmare and a mouth full of twisting gnarled teeth, too many limbs and a fractaline presence that burned into my eyes and-
I hit the ground with an audible WUMPH that drove the air out of my lungs, and I sat there, stunned, staring up into the sky, and whatever creature that’d been there was gone, leaving nothing behind but…
What was I doing here? I pulled myself to my feet and dusted myself off, frowning at how the fine clothes had been dirtied. Mother was going to throw a fit.
My lungs ached, and I brought my hand up and brushed across the necklace that hung across my chest, pulling it free. The chunk of my heart remained there, but… I looked up. What’d I been doing? Had I been falling? Falling from what?
Mother would not be happy. I squinted at the sun, holding up a few fingers to keep track of time, and then turned, eyeing the dark trees around me.
Right. I knew where I was. This wasn’t too far away from the shrine to the island. What’d I been doing out here?
Looking for answers. Right. That made sense.
I ran my hand across my head and found part of it sticky from a long cut that wound up across the skin, pecked close to the bone, and I pulled back and stared at the crimson as it dripped down my fingers.
Clearly, I’d found the wrong answers. How had I…?
I looked back at the shrine, tilted slightly, and up to a small platform.
Mother really would kill me. After all these years, it’d finally happened, I’d fallen while climbing. I rolled my eyes and reached for my book, flipping it open to look through my journal.
No. Still no signs of the spirit of the isle. I’d hoped, at least…
Some flash of some twisting hell bird flickered across my mind’s eye and I paused for a moment, digging for a stick of graphite to make a sketch of it. My fingers shook as if they were unused to the task. Concussion. Great. Whatever.
I worked at it until I got enough of an approximation of what was going on, and then found my way back to the path. Without the island’s spirit, the path had lost most of it’s dangers, even if everyone in the village assured me that it was still plenty dangerous. I didn’t believe them. It was a straight line, lacking any of the weird turns and split paths that the map had said it was supposed to have.
The soul of the island was sleeping, and it did not play it’s normal mischief upon travellers. I was as safe as anyone else.
The tall dark woods were rife with creatures. I felt eyes peering at me, small creatures wondering if I was a hunter, and larger creatures eyeing me for prey. Shoulders up, stance straight, a hand over my Heart and the other down towards the blade I kept on my hip. Mother knew best.
The town of Halfridge lay at the absolute forefront of the empire’s sprawl, a last remnant of a push several centuries ago that’d petered out in favor of the logistical nightmare of managing chains of islands disparate and barely connected to one another. It was built out of military ruins, but it hardly looked like it, strewn with building styles from across the empire. The main fort was still intact, but now the windows were done up with stained glass and festooned with delicate paints and sculptures.
I, of course, was not yet part of those.
One day, perhaps. Still, I nodded at the guards as I walked past them, and they nodded back at me. I felt eyes across the top of my head, but there was no point in hiding it, even if I could heal it whenever I wanted. Mother would always know.
I bowed my head to my uncle as I passed him, festooned in his magistrate’s robes, and his mouth opened to chide me before he lost the energy and shook his head. I didn’t blame him. Most people had run out of the energy to scold me.
Hell, I’d lost the energy to scold myself the last few months. Justifying my failures had always been easy, but now… it was hard.
“Charles,” Mother greeted as I stepped into the throne room. I bowed my head at around the right height for the honor of meeting a distant member of the royal family, despite my own status as a distant member of the royal family, and her eyes, just as I planned, slid across the cut on my head. “What’ve you gotten yourself into, my child?”
I bowed my head slightly more, the tustles of my hair falling over the cut, just as planned, and I gave her my cheesiest smile. “Oh, nothing. Just a brief encounter over at the shrine.”
She glared at me. “I thought you were supposed to be helping at the docks today.”
“I did,” I said. “They saw something over the forest, so I voluntold myself to give it a go!”
“Charles,” Mother scolded. “You’re going to get hurt- you did get hurt. What were you-”
“I saw a bird,” I said.
“A bird,” Mother said, tilting her head. “What sort of bird?”
“Many wings,” I said. “And purple eyes. And talons, massive talons and-”
“You claim to see a Star-Siren,” Mother said. “Again? What of the last one, which was just an overgrown hawk?”
“Or, you could just believe me,” I said, smile fading. “You know. As your son.”
“It’s not that I don’t believe you,” she replied. “I just barely have the resources to chase after yet another fable.” She pursed her lips. “Perhaps I should not have sent you to the academy as a child? It’s filled your head with nothing but nonsense.”
“And accounting knowledge,” I added. “Which is my job.”
“And accounting knowledge,” She gave a vague, unimpressed gesture. “Which is your job. Not hunting for mythical creatures that haven’t existed for nearly a century. Or Island-Souls.”
“That one’s only been gone a decade,” I defended myself.
“And I thank the king every day it is gone,” she said, rolling her eyes. “Are you hurt? I know you can heal yourself, Charles, so why do you insist on trafficking around in your own ichor?”
“So you do not believe I am trying to hide anything from you, Mother,” I lied to her. “I am, as always, your hardworking and honest son.”
“If only I could tear that silvered tongue out of you, it might help with our budget deficit for the year,” Mother muttered. “Charles, I know that if you promised me to stop looking for things that aren’t there, you’d find a way to do it anyway, so can you at least promise me to stay safe?”
“Of course, milady,” I said, bobbing my head. Nothing on this island was worth my time apart from the mysteries it once held.
Even if I, a noble held here by some quirk of my bloodline, were instructed otherwise, I’d find my own fun. It spoke to something in my blood, quickened some deadened part of my heart, ripped out of my chest. Some half forgotten memory of a time when the world had not yet been settled.
A time before Halfridge was the farthest reaches of the Empire, and there were still lands left to explore, and places beyond that were not still blighted remnants of plague and despair.
I left Mother behind, ignoring her scolds and her increasingly bored attempts to sway me to normalcy, and stalked off to my room in town.
Nobody had broken in. If they had, it might be more interesting, it might give me something to do, to hunt down whatever idiot had bothered to steal something I cared about. Maybe there’d be a duel, or something gallant or memorable.
No. Nothing. I retreated to my study, paid for entirely off of my accounting position, and stared at the maps that were strewn across every surface. Islands that’d disappeared, long charts of when the Island Souls had started to die, reports of strange things seen at the distant edge of the territory by wandering Fishers and Monster Hunters, driving the last of the wild out of the heart of the Empire’s Sprawl-
None of it meant anything, really, but idle curiosity, dreams scraped off of the floors of academic lessons in mage craft, myths dripping from the corrugated tongues of professors whose souls had long been snuffed out in favor of raw practicality.
Charles was boring. I was boring, and I was desperately trying to find a way out of it. Some last wretched discovery that meant I would not die a boring man, and I would not be buried in the family crypt.
The passions of my youth had garnered nothing so far. The family’s castle had few secret passages, and even the ones it had were boring and filled with nothing but disappointment. The crypt was off limits. Even I, in the depths of my most awful boredom, wouldn’t dare disturb that.
Even if belief in spirits was falling across the country, it hadn’t died in my heart.
I pinned the sketch of the bird creature upon the wall and stared at it. The sketch failed to capture the moment when I’d stared at it, euphoric, head aching as it spiralled like a great snake in the skies.
Wherever it’d settled, that’d be where I’d need to go for further research. That was my best bet at recapturing some of the wonder I’d felt when I’d first become a mage.
Comments are appreciated, as ever.

I'm two plus years out of university, though my work experience is mainly in stuff like visualizations and early design, not so much drawing sets. So I'm familiar with how portfolios are done for recent grads (all academic work) and experienced designers (drawing sets, details of recent work) but what about me, who graduated somewhat recently but hasn't really done much of actual work?

2021.10.25 11:54 mahdi036 Is there anything blockchain platforms cannot do? Crypto is taking over.

It’s a fact. Everything related to cryptocurrency is performing at top level. People are realizing that and they’re joining this scene.
But what’s surprising for me is that individuals aren’t interested in crypto only as an investment now, it’s becoming more of a complete new lifestyle. Even when it comes to the simplest things, I mean numerous individuals are joining decentralized e learning platforms like Studyum.
This shows the quality cryptocurrency projects are bringing into the world. These platforms are going to become leaders in tomorrows markets, not only a matter of a financial investment anymore.
The future is on a blockchain.

2021.10.25 11:54 A_1337_Canadian Is there a way to notify specific users when items are added to a list?

Hi everyone. I'm not very familiar with the functionalities of Teams besides the calling/chat functions. I've seen a few people use it to create and store lists as well as share files for editing.
I'm curious if there is a functionality for creating a list (an agenda to be exact) where users are notified when changes are made to that list/agenda.
Outlook used to work fine but MS changed something where updates to an appointment automatically go do the deleted items. I have found that lots of people miss these updates since they never check their deleted items (I get anxious when I see a blue bold "1" and have to go get rid of it immediately!).
Anyways, if you have some ideas as to how I could potentially exploit Teams, let me know!
Oh, what I started on was creating a group and a channel (if that verbiage is right??) where I have a OneNote page created. An agenda is stored in here but the only way (that I've found) to notify people of changes is to add to the file's conversation (which then pings the associated users). This works fine but something automatic would be great.
Thanks in advance.
